Cork-processing
Granules in different fractions are formed out of the bark splits from the cork processing. Granules are used for the further processing of cork products.
For instance:
- Agglomerated cork
- Rubber cork
- Other cork based compounds
A controlled mixing ration with various raw materials and ingredients guarantee a consistent quality. The continuous controls during the granulation guarantee a consistent weight, height and distribution.
Reliable manufacturing processes make sure, that from charge to charge, continuous consistent qualities are manufactured.
Cork combinations are mixed and cured under pressure in different processes with other raw materials such as rubber (silicone, nitrile etc.) or binders (PU, phenolic resins etc.).
The aim is to manufacture different materials with specific characteristics in accordance with the market requirements, dependant on the respective market-/client requests.
